What happens when you reach a point in your life where you begin to question the belief system you’ve grown up with, one that was so strong that your idea of who you are was framed within those beliefs? Jazmina Tarmidi moved with her family from Malaysia to Australia where they continued to practice their Islamic faith. In pursuing her dream to become a doctor at Griffith University she began to question the validity of that faith through scientific rationale. This is a courageous story of self-belief about who we really want to be and what we value most.
